“ Nice big store. Employees are nice too. But... digital coupons are soooo annoying!! And they're not fair for older people who find them difficult & frustrating. Why have coupons anyway? Such a waste of time for all. Just give sale prices automatically! Most everybody who shops here is a regular. What is the point! We all have too much to do 24/7. ”

“ I shop Shop Rite weekly. I find it to be a fabulous store. The staff is outstanding and very helpful. I do most of my shopping from the parking lot . I order online reserve a spot and the time and get my groceries. If you shop the specials the prices cannot be be anywhere. Their home brand bowl basket is very good. You might not like to have your vegetables picked out for you but I find how the whole no difference between them picking it out and sending someone in your family to do the same thing.I cannot recommend their own line of paper products,personal preference. ”
“ Woah! My mind is blown! This grocery storm is the total bomb diggity! I'm not sure why it took me so long to set foot in there. I have bad associations with the chain, I think, and thought it'd be a dingy, sad, poorly-lit store filled with low-quality products, akin to a Gristedes in NYC or an Acme in Brewster / Pawling. I couldn't have been more wrong. This place has offered me the most grocery shopping excitement since I discovered that Amazon / Whole Foods will deliver persimmons, artichokes, artisinal tofu, and daikon radish to me in the middle of nowhere -- for free. (I love you Andy Jassy!) They have a mind boggling variety of products used in south- and Latin-American cuisines, including corn husks for tamales, fresh aloe vera, sweet and green plantains, taro root, masa, a variety of refrigerated arepas, flan, queso fresco, frozen giant corn, cassava bread, and loads of other ingredients to play with; a Polish section that includes Polish-style borsht and sweets; packaged baked tofu for a pittance and a huge selection of plant-based products generally; Thai jasmine rice; a decent selection of Kosher products; a meat department that always has chicken liver for my pup, alongside well priced porterhouse / T-bone steak and interesting things like veal kidney; and pretty good bakery bread (as adjudicated by my husband, the big bread snob of the family). AND -- get this -- they have rabbit meat, y'all!! I'm not a huge carnivore in truth -- but I couldn't resist a fascinating food find like this. Not sure when I have ever seen rabbit meat for sale in another store in the US other than this Shop Rite and Ottomanelli's in the West Village in NYC. Ottomanelli's sure didn't have it for $5.99 / lb, though. I could do without the wolf whistles from the cart-collecting guys outside, but they do go out of their way to wipe off my cart for me sometimes and everyone else there has been both fabulous and non-harassing. The cashiers are far nicer and kinder than they have to be, almost across the board. The seafood counter guy chats and laughs pleasantly with customers in Spanish. It almost feels like a slice of NYC. Love. ”
“ Great selection and quality, shopper-friendly layout, but especially impressed with the staff. In particular, the front end management is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive. I've seen the young manager hop on a register himself to make sure the lines don't get too long, all while still "directing traffic" for his team very ably. Cashiers are friendly and engaging, and remember frequent customers. Grocery staff are also attentive - anyone I ask directs me (or takes me!) to items I'm searching for. I shopped at the competition for over a dozen years and tried ShopRite when the other store had a worker strike. I haven't been back to the competition since. Workers actually smile at ShopRite! ”
“ Clean organized store with big variety. Staff are very nice and I love how each check out lane has a bagger helping. However, I have found that the produce selection and quality are typically pretty poor. Majority of the time the fruit and veggies I get are bad :( ”
“ I loved this place. I'm from the west coast visiting and I was really pleased with this store. Very bright and clean. The variety of foods was amazing as well. They had spiralized zucchini noodles, riced cauliflower, precut veggies of different varieties..I could go on and on. It was better than visiting Trader Joes! ”
